Found  a interesting  site has  any one dealt with them?

Found  a interesting  site has  any one dealt with them?

I came across this site  http://www.splatco.com  

There PLCs seem to be what I have been looking for a in low cost  controller.
And the programming soft ware and simulator are free for the down loading.
I have been playing with it and can see a lot of uses in RE projects .

One would be controlling  an engine powered generator battery charger
. Starting the engine when the batteries are low and stopping it when there fully charged.
They can all so be set up to  handle  temp controlling and PID with data logging.

Even cheaper and easier to use try www.picaxe.co.uk. Put together a temp/voltage sensing/switching controller/data logger for a few 10's of dollars. I use them for everything!

I looked at their web site.  Looks like a great little, low cost, controller.  And it appears to be very capable too.

I have been thinking about somehting like a pic for a while but have been put off by the cost of getting into it and having to learn their assembly language.

These look like thay could handle many, many RE functions for a very low cost device.
