7" rotors ceramic powered

just a few shots of a little 7"dual rotor alt..
made with saw blades  and powered by ceramics..
6 coils # 17 0r 18 wire--single phase ..
lights up  3 headlights  or shorted out to car amp meter 9 amps 4 volts..
no power house but not bad for ceramics--made the legs on the coils about as wide as the mags..coils are about 1/4" thick.

my bigger 12" rotors kept on losing there mags--so im going to use brake disk rotors on that one..heres a shot of the 2by6 7foot blade i was going to use for it.
most likley will use a one inch shaft on it.that alt has 8 coils --single phase.
20-30 amps--55 volts--thick  wire -85 winds per coil..

that little 7" alt maxed out about 25-30 volts -no load.
82 winds per coil. 95 would have been better[more volts at less rpms]..........
its late im outta here!!!

Have you thought about 12 magnets half as big, instead of 6?
That way it would induce voltage on both sides of each coil at the same time?

I'm guessing there would be a narrower peak (less duration), at a higher voltage?

Maybe there is a great error in all that?

Cleaned out the garage yesterday. Until I found a 1/4hp Maytag, and a new 1/30hp Robbins Myers with an IBM#, and a ceiling fan (bad bearings + too small).  But the 1/4 and 1/30 motors inside look just like your big Maytag. They are doomed.

Your Maytag and first saw blade mills are what made me think I could  actually get something that would work!

Thanks,
G-
