Latest one went up Saturday



   It's the one on the right. Dual rotor 3-phase using 32 of Windstuffnow's wedge shaped neos.  I'm using an 8' 2-blade prop from an old project for now.

   Of course, the wind didn't blow all weekend; the most I saw was 6 Amps (24 Volt system ) in about a 10 knot gust.

   Yes, the height is an issue for sure. We're building a house and still have another building inspection to go before we're finished, so I would like to keep things as low-key as possible for now. I can plead ignorance or claim that the shipping container is a "portable generator" if anyone complains.

   I'm actually surprised by how much power we're geting so close to the ground. We are up pretty high though, and the highest hilltop for miles is on our property about 100 yards back from where the photo was taken. Once the house is finished....
