| The recent tsr posr got me thinking again about low speed startup vs. high speed performance. As we know a high tsr rotor will incorporate a lower angle of atack across the full length of the blade, unfortunately this puts the blade in a deep stall condition at low actual tsr's. I'm curious what others may think about incorporating leading edge slats to help remedy this without sacrificing high speed performance to the extent a pitch modification would. |
