Wished I had found this be for I bought  the PLC for  automating my  Briggs
battery charger.

They  have there   GSCM its  a micro-processor based Generator Start
Controller Module. It starts a generator via auto/manual
command & monitors multiple start/stop fault conditions

It even has provisions to handle diesel glow plugs. Check out the data sheet.
I gave them a call and the price is $240 US.

Another thing to check out is there VRDS this could find a lot of use in a lot of wind or solar projects

Those are some nice looking units. Have just about any type you might want there too. I found that site a while ago, just didn't have any $ so I left it in the old bookmarks for future reference. I'll bet when all is said and done yours will work better tho.
