Hey,

This mann needs help and I'm forwarding his message here:

********
I just had a failure on my Lennox system ECM controller. I was looking around for a replacement when I came across your web page regarding alternate energy. Very interesting subject material but not enough wind here in GA to make it worthwhile for me. I Would love to have a good fast stream and a Pelton Wheel but I don't have that either.

I read here that you throw the electronics away and use diodes on the motor for your purpose. It's possible that I can repair my electronics module if I had some of the parts you all discard. The failure was in the line side (230VAC) of the power supply. I would appreciate it if you would ask your group if anyone has one of these ECM modules. It is a 1hp GE motor (blower) with the square unit mounted on the back of the motor.

I have already ordered a new motor ($600.00!!) but I want to repair this module for a spare if possible.

Thank you for any help or input you can provide.

I invited him to join us and have used mine up already.

I think the one I had failed because a big cap went over voltage for some reason.
