Yep it gets like 4000 watts at 28 mph


So anyways, yeah it makes like 1000 watts at 16 mph, 4000 watts at 28 mph, peaks of 5000 watts so far in the furled position.  Funded by the California Energy Commission.

HI doug nice genny!!! have looked at your website almost a year ago,or so.i can tell you put some thought and alot of work into your machine.would you share with us some spec.on your genarator and rpms. thanks staples....

I'm guessing 800 - 1000 rpm peaks.
They are two 3-phase alternators with 28 poles and 84 slots inside the same case.
Each rectified externally and separately.

How is the 'rod', where the wind turbines
are, supported so that it doesn't bend?
