Looks like the rabbit got away . put the small spoket to the bottom. and put in an adjustment to tighten the chain. Looks good

with the bigger blade i most likly will drop it down to the smaller sproket..
it just worked better at the setting its on  now with my smaller blades..
i have a chain breaker tool--so its real easy to set the chain for diffrent
settings--if this works i'll try it on my bigger alt.--dog is doing great today..
time to hit the trail--later..

a bit more drag--so it takes a little more wind speed to get it started--once its
started thou it really kickes in--my bigger blade should really help out![8ftby10"]

If you salvaged the gears from an old bike, maybe you can arrange the derailleur and a long cable to change the gearing from the ground? ;-)

I'd suggest using some motorcycle chain lube (I recommend PJ1 Blue) to minimise the frictional losses & keep it running quietly.  That stuff also won't flick off the chain and make a mess of your blades/tower/RV/etc.

Poor Doggles!  I hope he's feeling better today.

thought of that--but the derailleur would be way to much extra drag--at least
for my setup...
