I want to start an argument

I want a mine numbing tail chasing long winded point less argument : )

I want a mine numbing tail chasing long winded point less argument : )

Reason I am bored and want to stir things up
I will be straight up honest with you the topic is unimportant
And I will tell you how I will start it. It will start with a seemingly innocent question that sounds slightly uninformed.
Then a person comes a long and tries to be helpful because some one helped them at one time.
They will take time to try to answer the question or point them to something that mite help.
This is when I pounce . I will go in to along winded tirade it mite not be related to the topic at all.
And some were in it I will push all of your buttons to get under your skin. Don't point out facts or figures I am not about to waste (MY) valuable time on facts or figures all I want is an argument.
But its ok to waste yours. I will take the high ground and word dance around to keep it going as long
as I can.

NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY
First things first I am not repeat not pointing fingers at any one . The above happens on about all the chat rooms on the web.
There are two thing that can be done. One hope the site has a place for such things like what has been added here .Many thanks guys
Then they have a place to call home and every one knows where to go for and argument good bad or other wise.
Two the best way to win a pointless argument is not to get suck into one in the first place.
I know easier said than done. But as soon as you see it coming turn off your computer back off and count to ten

If your still ticked off go out to your shop and do what I do pick up a (BFH) big freaking hammer and find something that needs some fine alignment and beat the (blank) out of it works for me : )

This has two benefits One it lets you work off some steam and two the time that would have been wasted on a pointless argument was put to better use : )
Sorry about being so long winded but this needs to be pointed out from time to time.
Old F

This is some thing I posted some time ago
I think it bears repeating

I would love to join in but currently I am busy re-painting my Thermal Energy Teleportation System before the cold weather gets here.

oilburner;

You built a TETS too?

I may need to get the lawyers involved for patent infringement now.

Hopefully you are not using my gonculator valve as part of the system.

Did you observe anomalies in the cellular mytosis of transfered thermal energy? How about general dimensional instability at the quantum level in the reaction vessel? My first run transmuted oak rounds into gold as well as enabling the thermal displacement. I could not reproduce the effect, however, and wish I had used a larger piece.

Cheers.

Last year transfered thermal energy did in fact cause rapid cellular mytosis in several of the test subjects. Alas, in late November the transfer gradient of thermal leakage back out of the system to the ether became greater than the thermal input to the system via TETS.

(for those of you without a PhD in this very technical subject)

Yep the solar panels did great last year and the tomato plants grew like crazy. But at the end of November I was not able to store enough heat during the day to get me through the night any more and everything died.

Back to painting.......

You were lucky!  After I produced my first half-tonne of gold ingots some guys in black suits who said they were from the government came around, confiscated it all, and burned my lab down!

Cold fusion.
I think that during the fusion process that the reaction causes the tempature to go to absolute zero and the fusion process ceases.
Does anyone have any comments on this subject of cold fusion????????

I think OldF should start making a mould to reproduce that GreatbigFH for sale, that one old one that you have will not suffice the market. Because this thing even sucked in people today who usually do not tangle themselves into "Pointless fights". Yeah you have a new sale for Windstuff now OldF, welcome to the club Windstuff ! ! Ha ha, the bunch of old garbage I can talk about !

Have a nice day you all !

While I am not bald, I find it rather unsavory that you joke about baldies spinning. [sorry I know its a typo used out of context but this is a long pointless and mind numbing argument]

I invoke the pickle clause of the contract and all cucumbers are forfeit.

Sorry to hear about your demise, Parameter.  You seemed like such a fine person.  Another life lost to a pointless argument....

If ONLY the dealer had possessed the correct Mortinizer to glavinate those pickles to your rims!  Oh, the humanity.  I shake my fists to heaven in mock consternation.

Keep the dream alive.
