I havent tore anything up on it. Just opened the wires where the three phases hook up but some varnish will seal them back up.

Hi Russ,
Where in Colorado? If you're in the Northern Front Range area I (and a few others I'm sure) would like to come take a look.

This systems needs a 120 volts battery bank and it would be an excellent system if working well.

Wind mill and a 12 KW 120 Vdc to AC converter plus a AC charger for the 120 volts bank

Question is: Have the system been operated at all or you were not able to install it ?.

I have, always, promulgated the fact of using the highest possible voltage, for the greatest efficiency and easiest maintenance, easy power transmission etc.

I have installed systems with 400 volts battery banks with parallel converters for uninterrupted AC power generation.

4 KW wind mill may give around 20 KWH a day with just a few hours of wind availability.
Source that may be good for several households.

Regards

Nando

Russ:

I went to see the link in one of the responses.
It seems that you are not able to determine the capabilities of the wind mill, but with what you are offering if everything works that is a great system that just needs a battery bank of 120 volts to produce a great amount of power.

There are simple tests for the windings checking and polarity --

If you want connect directly to see what can be done with your system

Hi

you might like to post a free advert on my energy focused website. We get lots of visitors form around the world including ebay. It's free. easy to use and quite like ebay - but it's free! and its only for energy products like wind turbines, solar, etc. plus some other areas that my users seem to like.

the adrress is www.wxtrade.com
