Has anyone ever tried to apply and where?Thanks

People upnorthere {ha}in WI.are fed up with heating costs.Everybody I talk to about what Im working on.They all tell me to build it and they will buy.My plan is to heat and cool large amounts of water instead of batteries.The turbine would be located just above the roof and gen in basement using twin towers for support.I know Ill still have to get it approved by insurance and fire inspectors.Bring em on.Thats good.

That's what they get downsouthere {more ha} for cutting down all their trees.  Up here in the real north a lot of people use wood.  You'd be surprised to see all of the $5,000 outdoor wood furnaces there are around here.  Did those people down there ever hear of coal.  I hear that still works for heating.  All the gasoline and oil used up here comes from the Green Bay terminal and they add in trucking costs.  When you're at the end of the trail you always pay more.  By the way, you can heat water by simply rotating a paddle in it.  Energy is energy.  So, why even have a generator?

motorhead2;

They all tell me to build it and they will buy.

If I have learned one thing in life it is that folks who make that statement seem to disappear when the device becomes available for sale. Just an observation.

On the grant thing there are folks who do grant application writing for a living it is a fairly complex process. I took a grant writing course long ago but personally never managed to get any money.

Cheers.
