I was wondering what the tip speed ratio might be for these blades. Just looking at the picture and others i just got done looking at on the web makes it look like there is still quite a lot of twist in the blade out at the tip.  I am no engine ear (engineer) but that would seem to limit the blades in higer winds but probably have a great start up speed if what i think i see is true. Do they possibly flatten out as the speed increases?

Tipspeed ratio for these blades varies between 6 and 8, depending on what kind of generator you are using.

Start-up speed is around 2.5 m/s, if you have a clean generator without cogging.
