hampster genny goes mainstream

You think the guys from google visit this board too? Where else could they have gotten the idea for a hampster generator? They combined the idea of the generator with the suggestions of the board for christmas lighing, it seems.

:-)

I saw that one too.  Hey is that skippy powering that thing.  Now we know where he went.  Did you see the screens before it, for a while they had the cat and mouse assembling the thing.  The mouse had a hammer and a wrench, and the cat was working the power plug.  Rich Hagen

Yes I saw that too. Infact I saved them all but the first one when the mouse came out of the access hatch in the botom of the g.
I would have saved that one as well but untill the next one showed I didn't know it was a series... glad I got the hint early.

Yes, liked the previous one too, with the mouse & cat pulling on the electrical chord (which reminded me that I still have to build a 380V/3phase extension cord...)

What did you mean, 'now we know where skippy went'? Did he run away? Not happy with his job of generating electricity for his master? Hmm, I just hope the mouse will keep on running, I wouldn't want the google-site to go down :-)

Peter,

Like many new users you fail to do a proper search before posting.  I am surprised an aspiring engineer would do such a thing.

Read about Skippy's skipping and the suspected associates.

No longer aspiring! (oh wait, now you're going to start a rant on this newfangled engineering education ;-) )

Sorry to hear about Skippy...

But inspecting the hairballs from suspect nr. 1&2 should give a clue. I suggest 6 months of forced labour (preferably generating electricity in an up-scaled skippy genny)

I'm sure that Skippy is smiling from his nice big midden in hamster heaven!
RIP Skippy -- may you always be surrounded by sunflower seeds to munch.
