NEW MAGNETS FOR SALE @ REDUCED PRICE

ANDY KRUSE SAYS:

Andrew Kruse" <andy@windenergy.com  S W W P -- Manufacturers of wind mills like the Air 403

We paid about $8 each for them. You can buy then for much less today. You
can have as many as I have for $2.50 each. You will have to buy them in lots
of 6 as that is what comes in each box.

They are: 2" x 1.125" x .250" thick. They have a slight radius on one side
that runs the length of the magnet. Every magnet is zinc coated to protect
them from the environment. The grade is N38H - This means they have a
material in them that is resistant to heat breakdown. They are all new.

NOW THE BEST TIME TO BUY STRONG MAGNETS AT A REDUCED PRICE -- SO SEND A MESSAGE TO ANDY to make connection for purchase if you want or need them.

Nando

Do they have different poles, or are they all the same way?  Is arc large enough to use these on an ac conversion motor rotor?

I emailed Andy about them  - when folks order an even number they will get half and half.  These may be ideal for some motor conversions.  I think they are a bit thin, and probably the radius isnt too good - for axial flux machines.  But if I were doing conversions to existing motors I'd be all over this deal.

Are these magnets suitable for building DanB-style PMG's? If so, I'm considering ordering 24 pcs. I'm from Europe (the Netherlands). How much would that cost in postage etc.?

Jerry - I think you (and anybody else playing with motor conversions) should jump on this maybe.  The thickness, and the width is very close to the magnets you love so much, and they are slightly higher grade so I think they would work very well in your conversions...  its a good deal.

Thanks Dan.

I did e-mail SWWP but havn't heard anything back yet. I would like to know how many make what od and id diameter?
If this group buys em up we should see a bunch more conversions. I'm convinced this type magnet makes the highest output from motor conversions.

Agin thanks for the heads up guys. Now I guess it just hurry up and wait till I hear from SWWP?

  • How many do you have?
  • What is the "slight radius"?
