AH Hornet blades. Get ready for some noise when the strong wind comes.

Great work. What are the motor specs? I'm using a heavy 1/2 HP and the Lakota blades. Seeing 2025 watts at 30 mph. Its a single phase 120 volt 1075 rpm 6 pole. I use it in my 48 volt system. Also using it with stock motor windings no changes.

1/2 hp 3ph 220/440 volt 12 wire - wired with 6 bridges one on each pair

I am setting a 96v battery bank that this will charge

Jerry can you get spare Lakota blades ?

Does that motor have thrust bearings on it?  Also, Jerry mentioned noise.  Is that due to the number of blades or the blades' construction?  Anyway, looks like a straightforward conversion.  Hope you get a ton of power from it.

no thrust bearings , the hornet blades are known for the noise they make , no matter how many blades they are

Hey ibe!

glad to see you got her up!  He he, and its just the beginning. How many more planned for this year?  :)

By the way, everyone seems to want quiet blades, personally, i kinda like a little noise from them. Noisier it gets you know the meter is climbing and no need to look at the meter!

have fun
