Best blade size for PM motors

I finally got a chance to pick up some DC motors that were offered to me awhile ago and with info I was hopeing someone might be able to help me out on the blade size that would be best. Here are the numbers on the motor tags.
#1  GE motor
rpm 1725
volt 180 dc
amp. 4.8
wound pm
time rating = cont.
This motor shows almost 20 volts with a quick turn by hand and then with a short piece of string on the shaft and a quick pull well over a 100 volts.
 #2 pacific scintific
  1. /3 hp rpm 1200
  2. vdc
amp 3.9
duty  cont.
This one shows about the same voltages as the above motor when turned by hand.
I am working on a mount for these motors now and with some help here I will tackle some blades. Thanks

Looks like you have two conveyor motors, the first one is 4 pole and the second 6 pole ( pretty unusual from what I have seen).

Good luck!

Well ...just as a rough guide they are pretty
linear so the first one would be about 1 volt per
rpm so with a quick turn of the hand, 20v (open circuit)= 200rpm.(about)...and with the quick pull of
the string well over 100volts, would be = to about
  1. rpm. so charging a battery something like
  2. rpm should charge a 12 volt battery.
The other one about 30 volts at 400 rpm.
This is just a guess timate but it'll give
you a fair idea ....a 6ft hawt..maybe ???
                Have fun!
