Careful


  This object gives a new meaning for the name "Twist Drill"...The drill was cutting And the work piece wasnt clamped down as well as it should have been...The drill grabed*The work piece started to jump and turn*And I started for the door..I been using twist drills about 40 or fifty years and I didnt know why they were called that, now I do...Some of the H.F  tools are a real bargin some are not..

i had some of those drill bits to. i called them "butter drill bits"

Taffy tempered drill might've saved you a trip to clinic by lasting that extra couple of revolutions... Gotta love it when the work piece works up speed making whooshing sounds. If it were top-notch cobalt bit coulda got in trouble, eh?  See HF cares :)

WOW I've been using drills for 40 some years and broke more than a few but NEVER twisted one or even heard of this. I would have said it couldn't be done, the metal is tempered and to hard.
