Folks could then compare their usage to other folks. We might think we do good on conserving energy in our homes, but we'd have a better idea of how we compare to other energy conscious users.
I normally use 300-350 KwH a month, and I know I waste electric.

years ago[1930s] my dad built a wind gen from a 6v auto gen--had it geared up with a big 12ft prop..he lived on a farm back then --they always had a flock of pegions flying around,. well the first day he had it up--the whole flock took off and flew right into the blades..he said they ate pegions for quite some time after that..............

1.) are you into alt power as a hobbyist? education? want electricity where it's not today? want your own electricity even though it's a electric bill away? just preparing for that unknown outage? you have something to sell?
5.) electricity source spouse allows grid only? whatever doesn't mar the house or landscape in their opinion whatever keeps the fridge going and doesn't raise the electric bill
6. ) sex of the person doing this poll. male female don't know (yes the don't know is a joke)
7. ) time spent on alt power projects evenings after everyone is in bed weekends eat sleep & s4!t alt power ideas/concepts (admin feel free to censor, heheh)
A) I hurt my wallet. B) I tore my pants once C) Magnets pinched my skin 1) once 2) several times 3) always when I handled them. D) Magnets drew blood 1) once 2) several times 3) always when I handled them. E) Magnets made me lose a finger(hand/arm/toe/foot) F) I cut my finger off with a circle saw (wink wink, nudge nudge, to whom it concerns) G) A blade hit me on the head and I've yet got to recover my sanity H) None. I let others do the dangerous stuff, like erecting towers and installing the generator & blades.
