Looking to find the best unit to convert

I have done numerous dual rotor wind turbines and am to the point of wanting to try a motor conversion. I have access to a huge variety of motors and voltage ranges. I would like to know what would match my voltage and prop size. first, 12VDC 10' prop and Second would be a 18' prop 12VDC. Any words of wisdom would be great.

Do searches for Zubbly, He is the king!
Jerry is good also with many, mostly 1hp or so I think. I still love the garbogens.

So many choices in motors, where to start is a hard one. I look for high voltage and high amp motors that run at low RPM. Some are fine as is some you have to rewire the coil connections inside. All I have to build a new Neo armature for to convert them to PM.

I have 12V, 24V, 48V, systems so any voltage worked for me when I built them.

nothing to lose

Spelin and tpying are my strong points, not electronics.

yes- seems that zubbly prefers dual voltage (230/460 or higher) 3 phase, with big bearings, and preferably rated for high efficiancy and/or inverter (VFD) duty, as this seems to give more copper and better insulation? lower rpm means higher pole count, which means more rows of smaller mags (tighter air-gap) and higher frequency at lower rpms, all of which are good. dual voltage gives you several options for wiring.

now, all that said, i have not done a three-phase conversion yet, and the above was from memory.
