All 3 images are 638x881 pixels when viewed directly, but most of that looks like a white background.  Did you scan these on a flatbed scanner and include the full page (8-1/2 x 11?) of nothing along with the picture?  I can see little dirt marks on the left side between the pictures.  The actual pictures without the background seem to be about 446x295 pixels.  What you uploaded is too tall (because it's mostly white backgound).  Crop or set the scan area smaller next time.

Also, you're setting a width of 110%, which doesn't make sense.  The width in percent is relative to the web page width, not the picture width.  This is probably getting ignored though - most of the problem is the tall white backgound.

Please dont clutter up the diary section with test pictures.
that is where many of us put our Projects.

Wili;

Where do you get the idea Diaries are only for "projects"?  It is kind of funny to me you think that and I wonder why?

Diaries are not only for projects. It is for pretty much anything the user wants so they would be perfect for testing like this which has no real value to most users. It will drop off faster there than here, too so consider that. Not sure if we need to have tests like this at all. Its not even RE related, even tho it is a sweet looking ride which is another reason it belongs in the Diaries. OK we can agree to disagree so I will leave it at that.

Everyone has a right to their opinions which does not make them right.

I guess I never understood why including photos is so hard for people there are very few requirements.

In this case most of his problem stems from not cropping the image[s] and including the full scan. The file sizes are decent and the photos show well enough.

Willib, Maybe one of you more informed M$ users can write a how to on photo uploads, preprocessing and use on this forum. Sorry, I can't do it because I use a different OS than most so any instructions I give will not apply to most users
