A few Items

We found a few items at the junkyard and and thought we would give all of you a  chance to guess what or where they came from.

I hope they will  be wind generators in a year or two. RobC

I should probably have told you that both sets of stators and rotors came out of same aluminum case.

These parts came out of a Toyota Prius hybrid. The small pink stator came out of the front of the main power unit next to the motor and the large stator came out of the other end of the unit.

I had no idea that the Prius came with a rock hammer as standard equipment! ;-)

Well BT you never know on these new high tech auto's when you might have to lift the hood and tap on something. And if your really angry use the pointy end of the hammer. RobC

Well i will post a guess.

A smallish gridtied turbine. The smaller unit would maybe used for controls and the other to feed the grid.

I bet its for power-steering, or A/C or some other auxiliary system.

Yes,yes,  nice rock hammer by the way, bet that was helpful for prying casings apart.

I fixed my spellchecker. :)
