or what you can do with a bored brain

enjoying the Xmas break . but trying to keep clean and enjoy the rest.
i couldent go down my workshop as it was a bit cold and that ment putting on my winter workwear.
so i just ate and watched tv.
but my mind was bored and i wanted to do sumthing on my mill.
so a little job i was able to do was painting indoors. i got the rotor and gave it a
makeover.  i think it looks much better for the the paint .
ok i know it wont do anything . but i liked it. gave me sumthing to do indoors.
sum might not like it but who cares. red vanes lol.
and today i got a bit more done . this time i made a stand like i saw on dans workshop.
a little mini wheel rim.  dident take long to make .
so if your into building windmills. then dont throw away a old car wheel.
or if you see one dumped . then you got a great little helper.
i had a struggle getting the tyre off.
so i run the jig saw around it .
about5 ten minnits after finishing the stand i started to paint.
  so easey.
but it wasent my own idea. thanks Dan.
havent done much work on the mill of late. just when i get the time.

  not to much more to do now <BR><img src="http://www.otherpower.com/images/scimages/8475/red_vane_1.JPG" width=80%><BR><BR><img src="http://www.otherpower.com/images/scimages/8475/wheel_stand.JPG" width=80%><BR>

Willib,

Looks like you're scaling up your projects.

I like the paint job.Pour a little cement in the rim,it will be more stable with a load on it.
 Nice.

Well actually in my case I would use the wheel,
tire and all...but not a tire so worn that the
steel belt sticks out...(man...those are mean!
...they bite!)Okay to continue the whole works
make a very stable affair ...tilt it and you can
roll it anywhere....lot better than any caster
wheels!
