call for exhibitors MAKE:

I have been lurking for a while and I am in awe of the knowledge,  curiosity and

generocity of the members of this board. I went to the Make: magazine maker Faire last

year and was blown away by what people were churning out just puttering around. If

you thought the segway was cool with two wheels, a Maker had built a balancing

unicycle!

Another person exhibited a heating coil that he heated with his grill to warm his pool.

Wind alternator tech was represented by the creators of the "chispito" a treadmill

motor with PVC pipe blades, and another person that attached strips of metal to the

 spokes of a bicycle wheel.

( I was not able to tell if he was able to make any electricity).

Given the incredible  projects on this board I would like you to consider

exhibiting at this years event http://makerfaire.com/bayarea/2007/callformakers/. I do

not represent the magazine in any  official way other than in the spirit of the open

source movement personified in this website and Make: magazine.

p.s. jerry I would love to see (buy) a garbogen instruction manual. Why not,Radio free

Berkley was selling plans for a 12v radio transmitter. CalCars

converted a prius into a plug in hybrid they claimed would get 100mpg in 3 days

Dan(s) how about a turbine building demonstration?

Moved to a more appropriate section. T

Wish I had more time. The Garbogen has been around for 5 years or so. I've built a bunch.

Wish I had the time to write the book. Most of the how to on the Garbogen is scatered about here on this board over those 5 years. Its had a bunch of upgrades over the years.

Early on the curved NEOs that worked the best were readaly available. There real hard to find now.

NTL has made available from time to time a slightly smaller version of the original magnet. I think he'se out of stock right now though?

Maybe in the future I may go to one of those shows?

bsafe thanks for the kind sugjestion and thoughts. Its nice to have people looking out for you.

Best regards
                        JK TAS Jerry
