Electric Lawn Tractor conversion kit

I have been designing, testing and building riding electric lawn tractors for the last 4 years, I now have a fully tested working model 42" cut that will cut up to 2 acres of grass for approx 50cents charge of electric from the grid,It is powerfull enough to pull a 2000lb boat and trailer around the garden,It can also run a snowblower attachment, and be used as a storage battery for a house solor system when not cutting grass,
I have assembled all the hard to get and specialy designed parts in a kit and hope to sell them eventually, But I have run out of finances,If anyone knows of a source of investors in Canada I would be very interested,
One would think it would be very easy to get something like thos off the ground with all the attention about global warming but it seem like there is a conspricy against anything that threatens oil.
Thanks Electriclawntractor

Theres a GE eletric garden tractor listed on Ebay  there is also some equipment for it listed  it had I believe 7 reverse gears and 18 forward . I would have bid on it but Its in WI  and thats a bit far to drive
it was a 36 volt system and used GC batteries , had eletric lift , the mower deck used 36 volt PM dc motors .

Sorry I should have added that I would also like more info. Do you have a web site?

Are you replacing just the i.c. engine and components, or are you also replacing the drive belt to the mower deck with additional E motors? What voltage are you setup to run, ect? And what comes in the kit?

I have a donor MTD 36" cut rider, with junk  virtical shaft engine.

The only way I could help you $$$ wise would be to buy the kit from you, if I can afford it ;)

a friend of mine has been trying to sell electric tractors in nova scotia,  with out much success.   he's a dealer for the " eletric ox " brand tractors.  i did a few modifications to the blade, and mower deck for him, so i got a good chance to use it.  i was very impressed,  the torque is amazing.  it's sooo quiet, and gets around great.   it even mows purdy darn good.  but the price tag is way more then i can afford for a lawn tractor.

best of luck with your venture,  i'd love my ride on to be electric, it would make things alot easier.  small gas engines are a pita
