Its my B-day. Need help picking out a good book on.

DYI wind power or RE or simular. Any ideas. I have a few of Hughs books. Maybe I missed one?

The WIND POWER BOOK by Jack Park?
An excellent book with all the formulas and tables you need with a very easy to read and learn format.
Amazon.com has them listed from $0.50 and up new and used. Search for ISBN number 0-917352-06-8

  I agree Garry !   That is one of the best books I've ever purchased on wind power. Hughs are good also but his are more geared around his machines... not meant as a bad thing by any means.  Jacks book covers a very wide spectrum of machines and give lots of data on each of them.  Definately a good book to own!

There is a good general book about Renewable Energy:

'Renewable Energy. Power for a Sustainable Future.'
Edited by Godfrey Boyle.

There is an Indian book:
G.D. Rai: 'Non-Conventional Energy Sources'.

Both of them are quite theoretical. The Indian one has got good detailed knowledge concerning biogas.

By the way, You seem to be working with amplifiers. You ever heard about the Finnish ortoperspekta amplifiers?

Hi Jerry - I recently read 'Wind Power for home farm and business' by Paul Gipe.  That's a good one to have in the library as well.
