NICE SCREEN UTILITY

For those interested.

I have up loaded to my USER FILES the PRINTSCREEN.ZIP file, it is a 3 MB size.

It allows to print or convert into different formats like GIF, ETC a screen capture or a selected size of the capture.

I use it to send drawings or what ever the screen shows that I have selected in the format I want.

For those people using Windows XP, here is a microsoft power toy.

http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

It will resize the image AND reduce the filesize for you. It gives several predefined options and also the option to set your own size. I use this utility all the time because its so quick and easy.

Once installed, highlight the images to resize, right click one and click "resize". A box will appear where you can set its options, click OK and thats it :-)

Oops, thought this was for resizing images, guess I didnt read and think at the same time. Still, it can be useful for those print screen images as well as normal photos.

thats what i do kurt
it seems by just croping a little of the outer edges it can take a huge .jpg and save it as one that is less than 100K and usually is less than 70K

The intention was to present a simple software to do a fast job without opening more than one program and not a contest for different programs.

Resizing is indeed a good program to have.
