Or know about them

I am considering the small 2512.

NE OH.  210 or 280W of fixed solar and a 12V system.  2 or 4 T-105s for 12V.

Experience, opinions, or thoughts?

I just checked them out. Looks like bulk and absorb voltages are fixed unless you buy the digital display. Even a Xantrex C35 has adjustable float and absorb voltages out of the box. Looks like 12V in and out only so there's no copper savings to be had by running panels at a higher voltage. At the site I checked, that controller and a display would run $320.

Street price on an MX60 is about $460 now.  I've had mine for a year now and it is a very nice charge controller, almost infinitely adjustable, built in digital display and you can run panel voltages significantly higher than battery voltage so wire runs can be thinner.

With a small system like that, I'd consider either just getting a C35 ($75 on Ebay right now) or if you're planning on expanding, get a MX60 and be done with it. I had a cheapo BZ MPPT200 charge controller go up in smoke about 18 months after I bought it. What a piece of junk that thing was, no 3-stage charging or anything. They wanted so much for return shipping that I never even sent it in on warranty.

The MX60 cost/gain wouldn't be as good as another PV in this case,
but I see the SB2512i for $148.
That price makes it look a bit more logical for a small system. If it works.

I will leave that for you!
My luck with high-HZ has a low-HZ rate of success.
