If you can't see the POLL on the mainpage then you must Enable it.
On the Right-hand side of of this page is a box with your Username on it
In that box click "Display Preferences"
on the Display page at the bottom is a "Boxes" section
in this section is the box to check that will enable you to see the polls on the front page

While you are viewing the Display page you should change
Number of summaries to show = 50
Number of titles to show   =  50
This will enable you to see more than 8 stories at a time

Now Click the "Save Preferences" and enjoy your new settings

Howdy Yall :-)
24 Volt = 140 1.4 V Nife batts series and paralell ( not done yet, more to go )
amph = I'm not smart enough to figure that one out.
I don't think the hot water solar panel makes any power !

We have 144 volt stand alone battery charging systems at BOTH our homes.

12 volts (2 x 6 volt batteries in series) Runs pretty much anything you could plug into a car lighter socket.

Yes, it's that 'car lighter socket' thing that keeps me at 12V!

Yep!  I can't see a reason for me to go to any other voltage, unless I could make 110 ac directly and store it in a battery. Let me know when they develop that.  <wink>

Currently at 12v. Planning 24v -- have invertor and building motor conversion.

originally planned for 12 volts, only because i can keep my cable runs short
and my loads very small relatively speaking.
changed up to a 24 volt plan because of finding three propane powered telecom 6kwatt gensets at a price i could not refuse.
if i keep planning and not doing, heaven knows what i will end up with!
actually i think i have settled on 24 and will stick with that voltage.

400AH @ 24vdc,  1750w UPS as an inverter.  Runs my shop stuff except the 1.5 hp motors.

24v with 2 arrays of agms 400ah main house kept charged by 880w of solar. 12v with 1 array agms 160ah in the shop addition kept topped off with a 108v dc turbine hooked directly to the bank via a diode. Oh yeah and 800 ah of 12v spare batteries.

kenny

seemed like a good idea at the time
