Hall Effect Sensors

Barter Trade

I want to get my hands on 4 pieces of Hall Effect IC's. I cannot find any in the usual electronic stores in Hong Kong.

In return, I will send you two home made coils which are driven by 12 volts DC and will each power one 36 Watt 220 volt fluorescent tube. The set up includes a fuse protector on the supply side and I will also include a TIP 3055, but this must be placed on a fairly large heat sink.

This type of power supply is extremely useful in those awkward places like the end of the garden privy, or an outhouse, or anywhere that is deprived of a conventional grid power supply.

Anywhere in the world and by airmail.

Damon,

Yes I could order as you suggest, but I have at least 10 coils of the type described above - too many to keep stored around my home until I end up in the coffin and the wife subsequently throws them into the dustbin.

The people on this web site are pretty good folks so I am trying a bit of barter exchange in the hope that friendliness and a common interest will be a productive outcome.

There are some small hall effect devices in the drive section (motor) area of floppy drives.
