New Belgium Brewing's efforts to exploit otherpower

Pretty funny - New Belgium Brewing picked our company to use in their latest advertizing campaign.  The 'ad' above is showing up lately in several magazines - were not sure which ones but we do know it's in Utne reader, Mother Jones, and Sierra.  Lots of fun and fairly silly.  If you have gobs of bandwidth and the latest flash player you can try to watch the silly video from here:  http://www.newbelgium.com/

You have to first select your age, then click on 'ride the high band' (followyourfolly.com) and then click on the wind video.

Lots of fun anyhow!  I've been busy - we did the workshop for MREA in Wisconsin and then I went back two weeks ago for a small wind conference in Wisconsin and then the MREA fair.  (themrea.org)  I got back two days ago.  Lots of catching up to do.

Very Nice!

Worth the hunt for the non-computer guys!
Won't take long, and the search is neat.

Maybe the dogs are bringing wood for new laminated windmill blades?

I love those guys! Good products, and good people. Most of them bike to work, also.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they almost 100% off grid?

El;

Yeah, DanB, George and Rich all live beyond the reach of power lines. Not sure how they get to "work" but Rich lives pretty close to Dan and George lives over a mountain in another valley and I just bet he drives. Since "work" is at Dans place I think Dan just walks out to the shop. I suspect Rich just puts on his rocket belt and does a big hop over to Dans ;=>.

As far as the brewery crew, no idea since I don't know them.

Good folks, no doubt.
