A suggestion to those interested in Halbach Arrays

Hi - just passing on an interesting thing I discovered.

http://www.csiro.au/resources/pf11g.html#design

The motor, used in solar cars, uses a halbach array to control magnetic flux, instead of heavy steel rotor discs.  The coils are wrapped in a confusing way (haven't read enough of it yet to picture it myself).  In other respects it looks like the alternators that are featured here.

No need to comment; just putting it out there because there are several memebers that have posted about their interest and/or experimentation with Halbach arrays in the past, and I thought they might appreciate this.
