kollmogen 24 volt brushless 450 watt as 3 phase generator

I have a 24 volt kollmorgen 450 wat 24 volt brushless dc scooter motor that I'd like to see if I can rewind to use as a 3 phase generator for a savonius.
Stock it would go around 3000 rpm @24 volt, hooking up to a rectifier from a 10si alternator and spinning at 200 rpm yeilded less than a volt.

I took it apartand it has 18 coils and it looks like 24 gage.  The coils were all hooked up in series and to get them out I scracted the coating off a bunch of them.

Can I rewind this to use as a generator?  maybe 6 coils in series hooked parrallel?   like they do for the f&p smart drives...
thanx

It's too small and too high speed to even consider for a Savonious. Yes you can get the speed down if you use thin enough wire but you will only have a few watts out at the end. Never worth the trouble.
