Making Power for the last 2 years

As promised I am trying to post some more.
These pictures are from July 2006.

Helping a friend set up his Whisper.

He insisted on using a brace to the battery room.
And when that thing gets cranking, the battery
shed makes an excellent sounding board.

So, for any newbies thinking of mounting their generator
to the roof or bracing it against their house------
Not a good idea

He doesn't mind the noise or vibration, so It Works For Me!!!!

Finished project, cranking out power!!!!!

If it has produced power for two years without failure, I'd put that down as well done. It is one thing to have a starry gennie, and another thing to have a maintenance free one. (even better if it is a starry-maintenance free one)

I have yet to find which one mine is ???... hopefully both.

Good to see. Thanks.

I have my whisper 100 on the roof now, the vibration is not too bad, but when winds hit 50kmh and gusts are in the high 90's things can be a little freaky.  Biggest complaint has to be the auto furling and the head dropping back down with a shudder.  That sends shockwaves through out the second floor.

I will be pulling it down in the spring and up onto a free standing 60 foot tower, but for the short term it was a solution for power that was pretty much needed.
