you have miss read my post, but you are right there is lots to read for listeroid's and 2+kw pmg's.
but that isnt what i asked about, i am looking at a pmg of half that size or less and at a little more rev's.
i know the basic's on how to build one aswell, what i am after is the feedback from somebody if any who has built one to see if they made any tweak's etc.
lister owners do it 650 times a minute.

Danb did a smaller one on some kind of portable diesel engine but that story is spread out over 5-6 Monday posts he used to do and it went through a couple stator changes.... you would have to search for all the related posts....

Dear rata2e, you have stated that you would like a PMG driven at 750 RPM by a 1.5 HP engine.

What voltage would you like for it to produce?

thanks for the info guy's, as for voltage 12 or 24 volts i guess 24v is more eco.
i have two 12v batteries but havent bought the invertor yet, i would love to use round microwave oven magnets if possible as they are nearly free, but most plans i have found to date use bar magnets.
i was hopeing for about 800 watts.
any input would be helpful.
cheers rata2e
