Big Batteries for sale

C&D LT-1008

I have a set of 24 C&D LT-1008 batteries for sale. I intended to use these for my renewable energy project but plan to use smaller batteries for ease of handling. These batteries were removed from service last fall and have been sitting since in an unconditioned area. They are 12 batteries on each of 2 pallets. No fork lift is available on site to move them. These weigh in at about 4800 lbs including 6.5 gallons of electrolyte in each battery.
I would like 20 cents per lb ($960) for the whole lot as scrap as I make no claims concerning the usefulness of these as a battery system.

You can contact me at 806-294-5500. Leave a message and I will call you back.
The physical location is near 101W by 33N.

Well I am slightly interested but need to survey my land a bit more.  Will watch your classified ads.

I have a way of moving a small number of them and a storage area, so let me know if some decides to just move a smaller number of them.
