Need some rotors for an axila flux generator.

First time generator maker

Hello Everyone

I'm making my first axial flux wind generator and was looking for a set of rotors. I'm in the process now of making the stator. I went to the sites store http://www.forcefieldmagnets.com and sent an email asking if they still sold rotors but didn't get a reply. I'm wanting a pair of 10" to 12" rotors. If anyone could possibly point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I've read where people are using brake rotors but I'm looking for something a little more lighter and not so bulky. If anyone knows you can either post it here as I plan on rerading this site or email me at glclough@ameritech.net

Thanks in advance!

I think I got this link from scoraigwind.com.

Wagner sells steel disks - 10" x 0.25" $15, 12" x 0.25 $25

You can always have a local waterjet company cut them out. That way you wont have to pay for the shipping of heavy steel plates. If needed, I can supply you with CAD files that have all the correct bolt holes in them.Free.

Thanks! I would like to find a local place. If you feel up to it send the cad files over. I just hope one day I'll be able to repay this favor. Thanks alot Perry!

Perry,
I'm getting ready to start on my first wind generator. I have the Dan's book and have been reading in this forum for several months. I'm trying to do a lot of homework here before I start asking to many questions (I understand to many repeats in the newbies section may not get answered). My question here is...Could you send me those CAD files on the rotors?
    Advance Thanks, Rick
