Need some rotors for an axila flux generator.

First time generator maker

Hello Everyone I'm making my first axial flux wind generator and was looking for a set of rotors. I'm in the process now of making the stator. I went to the sites store http://www.forcefieldmagnets.com and sent an email asking if they still sold rotors but didn't get a reply. I'm wanting a pair of 10" to 12" rotors. If anyone could possibly point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. I've read where people are using brake rotors but I'm looking for something a little more lighter and not so bulky. If anyone knows you can either post it here as I plan on rerading this site or email me at glclough@ameritech.net Thanks in advance!      GLC

Google windstuffnow Ed  has rotor blanks. Carpe Ventum (seize the wind)

I think I got this link from scoraigwind.com. Wagner sells steel disks - 10" x 0.25" $15, 12" x 0.25 $25 https:/www.shopwagner.com

You can always have a local waterjet company cut them out. That way you wont have to pay for the shipping of heavy steel plates. If needed, I can supply you with CAD files that have all the correct bolt holes in them.Free. Perry

Perry,    I'm getting ready to start on my first wind generator. I have the Dan's book and have been reading in this forum for several months. I'm trying to do a lot of homework here before I start asking to many questions (I understand to many repeats in the newbies section may not get answered).
