instead of mags.....

Sorry, I just posted a story of reshaping your mags from a long narrow neo 4x1x1 to a "T" shaped one by adding 1" neo cubes on either side of my original mag.  But Thinking of how it would be most difficult to pit same pole sides together with superglue...what if i were to use plain cobalt steel 1" cubes instead and let them be attracted to the mags....would that help reduce or dissipate flux leakage altogether?

I am really, really sorry for driving you guys nuts....

Sincerely ejl

Hi ejl

I did a very similar build method for my 16 footer and it has worked out very well so far! (fingers crossed). Forget about super glue use epoxy or screw them down with stainless screws, I did both but had to drill the mags. The mags will sit in repulsion if they are on the steel rotor but they will need to be securly held while the epoxy sets.

heres links to the machine I built

Super glue is only really any good for sticking fingers to fingers!
