Wondered if anyone might be interested in this wind jenny setup?

Hi all, was going to put this up on Ebay but thought it a good idea to see if one of my friends here might be interested in this setup. I've cut and pasted in the Ebay info so you can see what it is. If anyone is interested, I'm in SE Michigan and you're welcome to stop by and check it out or ask me questions via email and I'll get back as quick as I can. It really is a cool little jenny, I use it now to just keep pumping 12vdc into my forklift batteries. It doesn't have a charge controller on it just a diode for now. I have a flex charge NC25A-24 that's like brand new but I'd have to get what I paid for that ( I also have two brand new mercury relays for the Flexcharge to bring it up to 65Amps but would also have to get my money back on those, just what I paid for them would be fine, NIB) Not implying that the 72Volt Ametek needs a 65Amp charge controller just mentioning that the 24 volt controller also has available this option.

If anyone is interested let me know and I won't put it on Ebay. Any reasonable offer will be considered and welcome, I just want it to get a good home as I'm putting up my new conversion soon and need this space to put my other 24volt jenny when the new one goes up.

See info on this set up below this line  ---------------------- >>>

This is a running Windmill that is currently producing power and charging a parallel set of 3 - 12 volt battery banks split from a 36 Volt forklift battery system. It works great and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I am running a 24 volt system and use this as a 12volt charger to my parallel batt banks

This is a very nice wind generator for someone and it is definitely a Pick It Up at the site item. As described below, if you need to have it removed and shipped, it CAN be done but you will have to be charged accordingly. I prefer LOCAL PICKUP and you being here to help take it down for you to benefit from the experience.

What you will receive in this system:

Ametek 72 Volt PMDC Wind Generator
Yaw Mount with Tail Vane including Torrington bearings
Over 40' 2 1/2" Schedule 40 steel pipe tilt down tower

Outdoor Transfer box with GFCI Breaker
TLG Windpower Quadraflex AL blade set with hub
3 sets of 4 guy wires,    3/16" wire rope guy lines (12 in all)
(NO turnbuckles or ground anchors)
You can also have the cemented base for the tilt up tower
Gin Pole for raising and lowering tower
Does NOT include the ground anchors.

Information.

This Ametek 72 volt PMDC is standing on an over 40 foot tall tilt up and down tower and is in great functioning condition.

This machine is rated for 72 volts and is a Permanent Magnet DC and does a great job.

The blades are professionally manufactured by TLG Windpower and are the Quadraflex AL Series with hub. The blade information can be seen here http://www.tlgwindpower.com/rotors/quad_al.htm I purchased this blade set new.

There is no sign of wear or any worn out parts or any possible issues to my knowledge on this Wind Generator System,  so you can be sure you are getting a great machine.

If you need to have this machine shipped you will need to make all your own arrangements but as mentioned I am happy to load for you or your carrier. If it needs to be palletized and crated that will have to be arranged as an additional charge. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A RUNNING WINDMILL AND WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN DOWN FOR YOUR REMOVAL. I DEFINITELY ADVISE LOCAL PICKUP.

If you would like to view this machine prior to bidding you will have to email me to make arrangement to come by and take a look at it. Email me for appointment.

Hi Where are you located?  I would love to see your setup.  I am in in Howell, Hope to get my Classic farm windmill tower up in the next few weeks before the zoning changes in my twp this summer.  I Do not have a motor or turbine setup yet....I was planning on building my own but have been researching as much as possible.  I have a half dozen good Golf cart batteries....Getting closer all the time.    How much are you asking ballpark?

Thanks,

Dar
