The current price on a complete Hornet wind generator currently is $569.95 plus $44.90 shipping.
I checked out Wind Blue and Mallard they are cheaper. The parts I'm selling are the GM alt PMA with the doughnut magnet. Mallard sells that at $215 plus shipping.
The PMA and tail boom mount, Mallard sells that at $75 plus shipping.
I'm also including the 3 110,000 uf/15 volt cap plus the 3 fullwave bridge rectifiers mounted on the heat sink. I would gues that to be around $50.
Thats around $340 if it was all new. However its not new. The Hornet mount assembly Is dinged up abit from a tower crash. That same crash broke the alt housing so I replaced that.
The piant is scuffed, there are some slight cosmetic bends that don't effect operation.
The mods are there and have been made to the alt. The diode/cap upgrade pkg is there.
The blades I used in the tunnel test are not mine. Can't sell those.
I would sugjest you buy TLG blades for this unit anyway. Better power, less noise and I think cheaper?
It needs a tail wing but anything flat about 1 ft sq. should work. It also has the 2 1.5" coulers to keep the genny postioned on 1.5" schedual 40 pipe.
I'll take $200. plus shipping. Anyone thinking of spending $600 on a Hornet should get this genny.
Even when you buy the TLG blades its still cheaper and a much better preforming machine.
It will way out preform a SW-403. What do they go for these days?
Heres a picture of what I'm selling.
