I want to do a break disc alternator. I'm planning to use the cilindrical magnets 38x3,5 mm. This is my first alternator this kind. I would like to know if those magnets will be suitable for a break disc. Does the thickness of magnets have influence on the power of alternator? Will these magnets be much worst than magnets 38x12 mm?
