opening pictures using firefox browser

any one know how to keep the firefox browser from askin --what you want to use to open

pictures--i already made it the main browser.. its kind of a hassle every time you try to open a picture from my own files..you have to go throu to  many damm blank blanks!  other than that its a good bug free browser....................

I use Firefox and have never seen the question youn are talking about.

But try this . . .


Click the "Tools" from the top menu

Then select "Options"

Then click on "Web Features"

make sure that "Load Images" is checked.

If you want to use it as the default viewer for the picture types it will support on your computer, like IE is for some types when you get Windows, open Windows Explorer, then go to tools, then folder options, then file types and find the file types you want it  to open and set those types to open with the firefox application.  When you make the changes, and probably reboot, firefox will open and open images with those extensions when you double-click them.

Also if you right-click the file, select Properties, then on the window that opens you'll see "Opens with" and a program name.  Next to that you'll see a button that says "Change".  Click that and set the program used to Firefox.
