remote living

first time on here so bare with me. i live in a 12 by 13 bilding with a camper attached to it .i have vw jetta jacked up in the air with a 3,000 watt genny running off the tire . i have a small water pump that i fill my solar showers bags up. i pump out of the creek which i have 2 of them on my land. i have a water wheel which want to take wind mill genny and put to it to charge my battery bank. well let know what you think so far i have lots more to tell . just trying to get there

The new cost of gas should get you motivated!

I like water power, well, the idea of water power. There is not any falling water around here that could make any power.


An induction conversion could be a quick and cheap start. Search 'maytag' and 'garbogen' ('garbo-gen'?). Zubbly did a wonderful 3 part post on conversions.

I like them because they don't need a whole lot of fancy tools, and rewinding for better output is kind of "optional".

sorry should been more clear on jetta it is a diesle that i run in 4 gear at idle i get 800  miles to 10  gallone of fule
