Well done Peter, after nearly a year of testing you have produced a product to be justly proud of.
I can tell by the sleek lines that this thing will have very little mass at the top of the tower, in fact wind-resistance should be minimal.
However, I think the colour should be changed so the bird strike is reduced to a minimum as at the moment it is a bit difficult to make out at a distance..... dang near impossible at close quarters for that matter.
Must have a good wind site as the blades must be spinning so fast I can't even see the prop blades from here.
No.... I think your on a winner, the tree huggers won't be able to complain about the environmental blot on the landscape, as the foot print is insignificant....in fact so insignificant that it's impossible to make out,.. even at this range. It certainly doesn't interfere with the uninterupted view of the North Atlantic, or even the far off Artic ocean.
It's surprising that the big companies haven't beaten a path to your door wanting to take out licences, as with a machine that blends so well into the background, it would solve those eyesore arguments that the greenies trot out each time they want to stymmie another windfarm.
All in all, a technical triumph for mankind......and to think you complained about the quality of my graphics......cradles chin in hand, frowns, and taps foot on floor.:-)
a picture's worth a thousand words eh!
is it my failing eyesight.............oztules :-)
