Hey Brian,

I see you have that serious look of the determined homesteader. You should blow that picture up a little and post it on your properties boundaries with a no tresspassing caption. I'll bet it would be quite effective at keeping salesman and such out.

But like most of the big mean looking guys I know, I'll bet you're a real nice guy, and I hope you have real good luck with new place.

Next time smile a little bit!

So how about some captions for the pictures, we have no clue as to what you want to get across here.

Just curious. Is the 2nd pic a Servel? As that

is the only gas refrigerator that I'm familar

with...a small gas flame...not much larger than

the pilot light on some water heaters....ours worked fine in Ohio...moved to Illinois one time

, the gas pressure was slightly higher...which

made the flame higher...which made it cold enough to freeze the qt. glass bottle of milk(glass bottle should give you a hint of how long ago that was...)

...so they would seem to be efficient...and heavy...if you ever had occasion to cart one up

a flight of stairs!

Yeah....Ford tractors My Dad made one from a

Model T coupe...took off the body and put a

'38 Chevy trans so we had 2 lows...which still

wasn't really slow enough...at the time they sold

a tractor steel cleated rear wheel kit  with

reduction ring and pinion gear that sold for the

staggering price of $100!

If you're a Ford buff you haven't really lived

till you heard the tinny rattle of a Model T Ford

engine!

Hi Brian,

Hey, you really got a good deal on that fridge -- mine cost me $600, but it was unused, as some folks bought a new motor home and the woman wanted a full size refer -- so took the one i have out !!

Looks like you have lots to do and that tractor will make the work , much easier -- mine is a Case with a backhoe -- Had intended to sell it , when I get done with my cabin, but now, don,t feel like I can ever do without it !!

Enjoyed your pics, and nice to see a "face", to go with the name-- My best to you, and keep up the good work--- Bill H.........
