I drove by a view of that before there was any wind turbins. My guess your in Wyoming looking at the Grand Tetons wich I beleave are in Idaho? I think there is a big Budwieser grainery co-op close to there. They have huge silos. Its been about fifteen years since I drove by there . Everything is so big out there. I could have been a hundred miles away too.

Your the one!!!!

BUT

"Breasts of the World"*

are in WY

I and the mill farm are in Idaho

Yep everything in huge here, Texas aint't got nothing on us! OK maybe flat land!

The view of Tetons is from a couple hundred miles away!!!!!

The week B4 thanksgiving, we ,(me and local brother and brother from NEBRASKA with a

friend) drove up for a look at them, we can see them from home but WOW!

I never would have thought that they where that tall!!

You get used to being able to see stuff from hundreds of miles away living out here.

*="Jedediah Smith and the opening of the west" Page's 89-90.

Also "big Budwieser grainery co-op"

Is directly west of the farm, on the ,(what we call flat) river plans

about 20 miles or less.

I knew I had seen that view before. I lived in Utah for about four years. I went out there just after graduating from high school to ski real stuff! I got a job as a carpenter and on my spare time I would go 4 by 4ing on the ranchers trails for hundreds of miles. I saw that sceen when I was on the highway to Montana to visit a girl I meet in michigan. When I was in Missoula I climed as high as I could in the mountains, by two track. I walked up to a cabin that was slideing down the mountain. When I got back I stoped for a beer and told them were I went. They said I was at Tedy Rosavelts summer cabin. He used to get there by horse. They couldn't beleive that I was all the way up there. They say That there is still places in Idaho man hasn't seen. I hear people go hikeing deep into the mountains and never come out.

Yep-

Thats why it's called: "Frank Chunch Wilderness Of NO Return"

Alaska Is the only other USA place to get REAL outback!

Like I posted B4 you get used to being able to see for hundreds of miles out here.

I quess we take it for granted, that is untill you go some place else, just a visit.

We don't really loose very many "Born-n-Raised" but a lot do learn the hard way!

Most return, to stay.

I did loose two brothers and have one child that keeps rebounding.

I blame the brothers on the lack of tech jobs, (other than the Worlds First Atomic

power plant) in our area. Just spuds!

Anyway enough Ranting

I'm glad you got to visit!

More impressed by the lasting impression you got!

Thank you!!!!

"not nearly so photogenic"

I will not argue that

But maybe timed to show less trucks.

How many total?

Up on the hill by me I counted 42, finished.

Twenty mills up close to highway, might be a farmers co-op for all I know.

More visible at various places along the interstate but back off on the horizon.

Picture was grabbed from a video - trucks made good cue for relative sizes...

I walked up to some That had 80' blades. These blades apeared to be fatter than the ones in your post. I counted 21 rpms. It was neat to hear the whoosh of the blades as they swung by the bottom! I would say the wind was at least 30 mph. The turbine was 360' tall when you include the blade. 280' to the center of the rotor!
