Life can Funny some times, Fun even!!

Last saturday while I was sleeping, my girlfriend was charning the lightbulb

in one of her ceiling fans.

POP, and she said it was harder to remove old bulb and when she turned it on

all three bubs only had soft glow and didn't ever get bright.

She said she knows I had nothing to do with it but

Thinks I put a "Hex" on it buy wanting parts! lol     I didn't touch it!

I found out the hard way too, that when you change the bulb in a remote controlled fan make sure the power is OFF. my fan still works and the lights are ok, but the remote unit had to be removed.

I'm sure he meant "charMing". She's a very charming woman.

"She's a very charming woman"

To say the least!

No, my typing is bad when excited.

While changing the light bulb the reciever took a hit.

I've explaned how it could be replaced minus the "Remote control" and would

work fine but because she knows I want the parts she thinks,

that it didn't get used much and didn't put out very good light.

So anyway, I got the blades, motor for my "parts" pile.

Boy, these sure have a super nice "hub" for mounting to ceiling,

wish I had a few extras!

look in your yellow pages for a salvage or thrift store that takes used appliances/fixtures. they will have a huge pile of cheap ugly ceiling fans with nice bearings :)

Thats what people think but,

I've only seen one in the year I've been looking.

And After I came home to look for info on fittness for this,

(here at otherpower) by the time I got back there it was gone.

It was the farger type, 12" body and was only $8.00.

But today, (Mondays are best, from home and garage cleaning and failed yard sales)

 I will look some more.
