  I wind each phase all the same ( cw ccw etc ).  I think you'll find that reversing the 2nd phase makes very little difference in that arrangement.  You can check it both ways when its done by simply reversing the start and end wires of phase 2.   It makes it easier not to have to think about winding it differently which simply adds to the confusion and reversing the wires is much less complicated in the end.
