Hdpe Stator support and venting
« on: October 21, 2006, 05:26:15 PM »
Im sure you guys were wondering the same thing has i was.I came up with this plan of attack.

Another bracket of the same size needs to be made yet to clamp things together and am planning on venting using the brackets like this

The brackets are so inflexible that i cant make them flex.(tough stuff)

The winding is still the test winding.

The rotors im thinking will have 3in.pipe(with inner bearings) welded to one and the other threaded to engage the rotors then setscrewed and locktighted with little fan blades welded on to cool the inner legs.

The frame is still to be figured out but since this will be separate from the turbine(maybe) gonna keep ma nature out.

 Oh goodness Im nuts

vawtman--

Haven't you heard most famous inventors were---well, let's say--a little eccentric?

You, nutz?  No--just an inquiring mind and "if there's a will--there's a way" type thinking.

Proceed on, I'm following with interest.

Kapt'n Crunch was a big success---proceed on.

Although there's a haunting resemblence to something in Master/Commander or a woodaxe?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Stephent the weird thing about this stuff is that it grinds like steel.I used a high speed grinder to cut that inner slot with no melting.Just dust.
