That's an extreamely impressive machine.
So long as it has the power and the rigidity for deeper cuts it would work well for one side of the blade.
The other side of the blade would have to cast into a block to regain the origonal board shape then removed after the second side is complete.
Without having seen it run in real life I would be skeptical of its usefulness for anything beyond relief carving as it's not very heavy looking but the design of the machine is a rigid design concept.(Gantry style head provides support on both sides of the head as appossed to a C-frame design).
I'm impressed with the software, the touchsetter and especially the probe.
In a somewhat larger machine with a cast iron frame this would be very impressive.
I'm betting power and chatter would be a limiting factor though.
Price seems reasonably good.
