I've been thinking about the term "Jerry riggerd". I was thinking maybe using the term Jerry phase?
Oh well the wireing scheem will be the same no matter what you call it.
The only thing requiered for Jerry phase is that the magnet count is an even # that can be diveded by 2. The coil count does matter. The only requierment would be not to have 2 magnets over the same coil at once.
Thats why I was thinking of 10 or 11" even though the magnets are small.
Concerning the fullwave bridge rectifiers. A short time back my plumber freind gave me another 50 garbage disposals. Half of them were the DC PM type. These have a very nice 3/4" square 6 amp full wave bridge. Plus I have another 15 or so from previus dumpster diving.
These are the diodes in use on my 8" dual rotor that was making over 1600 watts in that last big NW wind storm. There all still working great. Its amazing what nine littel 6 amp bridges can do when perelelled (60 amps). 11 should do even better (110 amps).
I have no idea what phase it will be but that has no importance on the prefomance of this alt.
Time will tell and the test rersults are in.
